First Annual Kiwanis Family Fun Day
On Saturday, 29 May 1999 Kiwanis Campbell River, in association with the Downtown Business Improvement Association is pleased to present Kiwanis First Annual Family Fun Day.
The place is the Foreshore Park, right in the heart of downtown Campbell River, and right on the water with an incredible view of Discovery Passage and Quadra Island.
The underlying theme of this event is the promotion of unity within the community. We hope to involve some of Campbell River's diverse cultural groups, including local First Nations groups.
To date, we have confirmed the participation of the Campbell River Folk Club and the Community Arts Council. We have also rented two Bounce-a-Ramas for the day.
We're still working out the actual details. the atmosphere is an old fashioned family picnic, with sack and three-legged races, craft tables, live entertainment and more.
For more information, please e-mail the Kiwanis Club of Campbell River.
